Hi Chris,
Wow, thanks for the GREAT service, I ordered on Saturday and received
the grips on Monday!
Attached is a photo of my 1911. I obtained it from the DCM in 1960 with
a cracked grip. After visiting your web site I thought it was time for
a change. The fit and finish of your grips is perfect - a great
product
Best wishes,
Harry Herr

Chris,
Recently I purchased a set of your black checkered Alumagrips for a 1911
that I was building. The grips match the matte-black finish of my pistol
perfectly and feel great in my hand. Plus, they offer a very secure grip
without 'grabbing' my cover garments. Thanks for producing such a great
product.
Sincerely,
Butch Calvert

I hereby acknowledge receipt of 1 (one) pair of Alumagrips with HW
initials in good condition.
Having small and fat hands, I always have difficulty in controlling the
recoil of my 45 ACP. I changed my grips every so often: from checkered
wood to checkered micarta to specially carved micarta then back to
specially carved wood grips again, all with little improvement in my groupings.
I change my 1911 grips to Alumagrips after reading about them in the
internet. The result is significant improvement within 3 days of using
Alumagrips. The checkering of Alumagrips clutches on my hands, enabling
me to achieve 2 inches grouping from 25 yards, as you can see in the
attached photograph. Alumagips are not as heavy as I think the would be
and my initials on the grips give the appearance of personalized custom
1911 too...
And I really appreciate the attention to every details given to me by
yourself as the owner of Alumagrips company, despite 12 hours difference
in working time zone between us.
Standing ovation to Alumagrips from 3,000 miles away !!

Chris -
Here's the photos of your fine product on my paracompanion. The fit of
the grips was impeccable, the radius of the grips are absolutely
consistent and make for a much better grip. This makes for an easier
time of controlling the small .45 in recoil. I had a difficult time
deciding which color to order, so I let my wife choose. As you can see,
she is always right! The gray is very classy and the historical
significance and the beauty of the fleur de lis pattern really makes a
great visual statement. I plan to upgrade my 1911's to your fine grips.
Thanks,
Christopher Gilson

Pics are attached, and I've included a picture of the actual symbol which
is a shield instead of the circle. If I would have thought
of this in the first place, that's how I would have done it.
But, of course, these grips are great anyway and I am very
happy with them. Thanks again for the work and the patience.

Hi Chris
I finally got my Springfield. I love the look of your grips on this gun. It really makes it a custom piece. I waited awhile to get it, but it was worth the wait. The gun was built by Pistol Keith Martin from Mechanicsburg, PA. He agreed that the grips were great and really made the piece a one of a kind. He said that he had heard of these grips, but was really surprised at how great they look. Now I guess I'll have to order another pair for my Kimber.
Thanks,

Hello Chris
Here are some pictures of my gun with the grips installed, they fit perfect but I had to shorten my thumb catch it was a little bit to long.
thanks again for your service.

Mike

Chris -
I really liked the way the grips felt in my bare hands and with my
gloves. The Alumagrips don't grab my clothes the way the original
rubber Kimber grips do when I wear the 1911 in my paddle holster. The
rubber grips would grab my shirt and my jacket which doesn't make for a
smooth draw from a holster! The Alumagrips on the other hand feel
great and don't snag. I can really keep a good grip on them without
the checkering being "pointy" on my hands like other grips I have
handled.
The anodized finish looks very tough and should not scratch or chip
easily. One guy that went shooting is a machinist and was impressed
with the quality of the workmanship. We all were impressed. Money
well spent. Excellent customer service and a terrific product. Keep
up the great work!
Thanks,
Brian

Mr. Lynch
I bought a pair of your grips after reading many good things about
them on the 1911Forum. I just wanted to drop you a line to say that
those good words are true. Great quality, looks and comfort.
Thank you
Shawn
