Chris,
I recieved my custom engraved Alumagrips 5 days after my online order. I
cant say how impressed I am with your impecable attention to detail while
designing this product. Any 1911 that I own in the future will have
Alumagrips. Here are some pics of my Springfield. I would be honored to see
my gun on your site.

Chris,
Well, I made the leap to aluminum. I've used the original
checkered cocobolas that came on my guns, then rubber wraparounds
(make's the gun look non-1911 like so they didn't stay on
long), then smooth maple burl - 2 different sets (beautiful
as they are the comfort just wasn't there), then I made the
aluminum move. I ordered the Slimline Olive Drab standard
checkered style, a set of the slim grip bushings, stainless
grip screws, and the bushing tool (which rocks) last
Wednesday and they arrived 3 days later on Saturday. The
bushing tool easily removed the standard bushings and just
as quickly I had installed the slim bushings into my frame.
Now for the grips...WOW! Not only are they a machined piece
of art, you can feel and see the quality. The checkering is
perfect...grippy yet not abrasive. Being that every prior
set of grips I've had were standard thickness, I was amazed
at how incredible these felt on the gun. It fits my hand
perfectly now. I can't wait to go shoot witht these babies
on. I have medium sized hands and the gun just feels like
an extension of it now. The aluminum warms up very quickly
and stays warm as well. If you haven't had slim grips on
your gun yet, I highly recommend them provided you don't
have huge hands. Chris Lynch at Alumagrips answered all my
question prior to order and was top notch just like his
products. Big thanks. Here are a few pics which don't do
your product justice. BTW, Olive Drab on a Park'd 1911 is
extremely cool looking, especially with the stainless allen
screws I chose. You have a new lifelong custome in me and I
won't hesitate to put Alumagrips on any of my future 1911s.

Chris,
Thanks so much for the excellent grips. They fit my Kimber Ultra CDP II
perfectly, and give it a subdued, business like appearance. The smooth
finish feels good in my hand, and also against my skin when carried in an
IWB holster. Keep up the good work!

complement for my SPRINGFIELD "A1" 1911 against the
stainless finish. A sexy, sweet shooting pistol. Excellent
